Onside Law is delighted to announce the appointment of Ben Hanglin as a Corporate Partner and Ross Brown and Harriet Leach as Legal Directors. Harriet will also become the firm’s Head of Women’s Football.
Ben specialises in M&A, investments and joint ventures in the sports and media space. Ben has been instrumental in a number of key client transactions for the firm over the last 18 months notably Y11’s acquisition of Ospreys Rugby, the sale of TRM Partners to Two Circles (backed by Bruin Capital) and private equity house LDC’s investment in the equestrian business LeMieux, amongst others. He has also advised Ellipse Data, West Ham, Saracens, Sir Nick Faldo, Tommy Fleetwood and Luka Doncic and other high profile figures.
Ross specialises in sports regulatory matters, as well as other forms of dispute resolution in the sports, media and entertainment sectors. He is particularly well known for his advice and advocacy on behalf of the International Tennis Integrity Association. Harriet specialises in M&A, investment, governance and diversity/inclusion in the sport and media space with a notable focus on women’s sport. Harriet has played a key role in these areas for Onside Law in recent years, including advising on the recent transfer of ownership of Hearts Football Club to its fans.
