Onside Law is widely recognised as one of the UK’s top sports law practices. Our clients are some of the biggest names in sport, including many of the leading national and international governing bodies, clubs, sponsors, investors, entrepreneurs, team owners and high-profile athletes. Our Corporate practice is thriving and we are seeking to bolster our team. We are recruiting a 2 – 4 PQE Corporate lawyer to advise on M&A, joint ventures, investment and shareholder agreements, funding, development and structuring of new sports properties. The scope of work will include advising on the establishment and growth of new leagues and competitions, investment into governing bodies, the buying and selling of clubs and corporate work in relation to businesses that serve the sports sector.

For this role, experience in the sports sector is not a pre­requisite, but an understanding of the sector and the ability to demonstrate a desire to work in the industry will be an advantage.

  • Someone who is naturally interested in the business of sport
  • Someone who is personable with a good client manner
  • Someone who will be an impressive ambassador for the firm and is keen to develop the business further.
