Wil is an associate specialising in commercial work for clients in the sports and media sectors. Before joining Onside Law, Wil trained at Norton Rose Fulbright and qualified into the firm’s IP/IT department, also working closely with the firm’s sports practice group.
Wil advises on a variety of commercial contracts for stakeholders across the sports and media industries, including international federations, governing bodies, clubs, event organisers and agencies. He has experience advising on a range of commercial contracts, including sponsorship agreements, supply contracts, licensing agreements, service contracts, outsourcing agreements and tech procurement contracts.
Away from his desk, Wil can usually be found doing anything and everything related to football, whether that be playing and watching or reminding (/boring) everyone that his hometown club, Manchester United, is still the ‘greatest’ club in the world and how Roy Keane and Paul Scholes formed the ‘greatest’ midfield in the history of football.
